The international roadshow “ALATAU RISE With Kazakhstan” opened in Seoul, presenting Kazakhstan’s Alatau City project and new opportunities for green energy cooperation. The Kazakhstan government delegation, led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bozumbayev Kanat, discussed the city’s master plan developed with experts from Korea and Singapore.

Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ilyas Bakytzhan outlined strategies for integrating renewable energy and Smart Grid systems capable of supporting up to 2,000 MW. He emphasized that hydrogen will play a key role in both transportation and heating, offering a path toward carbon neutrality.

During the forum, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Global Green Growth Institute(GGGI) signed an MOU to promote clean hydrogen and green technology projects. The event underscored growing Kazakhstan–Korea collaboration in energy innovation and sustainable infrastructure.
