The “ALATAU RISE With Kazakhstan” international roadshow, aimed at attracting global investors and fostering bilateral cooperation, concluded successfully on October 15 in Seoul with strong participation from the Korean government and major corporations.

The event gathered around 400 participants, including officials from both governments, public institutions, and leading companies. Three MOUs were signed in next-generation industries such as smart cities, hydrogen economy, and urban air mobility (UAM).

The Kazakhstan government and Caspian Group continue to enhance cooperation through the Alatau City Project, envisioned as Central Asia’s largest smart city.
In the interview, Yuliya Kim, representative of the Alatau City Project Office, noted that the roadshow “confirmed Korea’s strong interest and willingness to cooperate.”

Ms. Kim also emphasized the importance of building a private cooperation network between the Association of Koreans in Kazakhstan and Korean enterprises to expand future collaboration opportunities.
