Samjong KPMG announced it will support the “Alatau Rise International Roadshow” on November 15 at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, in partnership with the Kazakhstan government and leading Kazakh companies. The event aims to engage Korean public institutions and businesses in discussions on new city development and industrial collaboration.

Kazakhstan’s economy remains strong, with a 4.9% growth rate in the first half of 2025 and projected GDP growth from KRW 400 trillion in 2024 to KRW 560 trillion by 2027. Amid geopolitical tensions and sanctions on Russia, Kazakhstan is increasingly positioning itself as a promising destination for international business and investments.

Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and vice ministers from the Ministries of Industry, Transport, and Energy are scheduled to attend the roadshow to meet with Korean government institutions and business representatives to explore potential cooperation in Alatau City’s development.

Park Moon-gu, Partner at Samjong KPMG, emphasized that “Alatau City provides an ideal platform for Korean companies to explore new business opportunities and strengthen long-term Korea-Kazakhstan partnerships.”
