The development of Alatau City — a large-scale, high-tech urban hub near Almaty — aims to transition Kazakhstan’s economy away from its reliance on oil and gas and toward next-generation industries such as urban air mobility and autonomous logistics. The project actively seeks participation from Korean companies, positioning it as a strategic opportunity for both Kazakhstan and Korea.

Chairman Tskhay also shared his vision for a cultural memorial park within Alatau City to commemorate the history and resilience of deported ethnic Koreans — a deeply personal project rooted in his family’s legacy.
