Source: Memorandum Signed in Government on Creating a Sustainable Aviation Fuel Ecosystem in Alatau City

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov met with Dr. Peter Lee, founder of Hong Kong-based Full Vision Capital, to discuss long-term energy cooperation, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production, smart energy solutions, modern energy storage systems, and the first practical pilot project in Alatau.

"The Constitutional Law 'On the Special Legal Regime of the City of Alatau' provides investors with legal certainty, stable tax conditions, and a one-stop-shop framework. Alatau City can become a pilot platform for localizing technologies and your development expertise. The Government is ready to provide all necessary support," Olzhas Bektenov emphasized.

Peter Lee presented his vision for a long-term, scalable partnership between Full Vision Capital and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"It is a great honor for us to cooperate with the Government of Kazakhstan in supporting the green transformation of Alatau City. As part of this partnership, we expect to introduce innovative technologies that will help Alatau and Kazakhstan as a whole establish a new international standard for sustainable urban development,"Dr. Peter Lee noted.

Following the meeting, the Alatau City Authority, the Ministries of Energy, Agriculture, and Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Full Vision Capital signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Green Kazakhstan project.

The document provides for exploring an integrated SAF ecosystem from agricultural raw material cultivation through processing to final output, as well as smart energy solutions and nickel-hydrogen energy storage systems to improve power supply reliability and integrate renewable energy sources. The Prime Minister instructed the relevant state bodies and the Alatau City Authority to support the pilot projects.
