Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bozumbayev Kanat reviewed preparations for the development of four districts of Alatau City - Gate, Golden, Growing and Green - each designed with a distinct functional focus, ranging from industrial and business activity to education, tourism and recreation. During the visit, he was briefed on the overall progress of the Alatau City project and the readiness of key sites for large-scale construction.

In Gate District, located between the settlements of Otegen Batyr, Pokrovka, Koyankus, Yntymak and Zhanalyk, projects by PepsiCo, Caspian Group and the Almaty Fan Plant are already under way. The district’s core will be the International Business Development Center, Iconic Building‑1,envisioned as a flagship symbol of Alatau City. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bozumbayev Kanat instructed the relevant authorities, the akimat and investors to accelerate construction. Golden District, stretching along the highway between the Malaya Almatinka and Kaskelen rivers, is being developed as a hub for science, education and healthcare, with the K‑Park cultural and business complex, an international education center, an academic campus and a multidisciplinary medical cluster planned, alongside projects by Hyundai Green Food Almaty and Mars.

Growing District is taking shape as an export‑oriented industrial and logistics center along the Almaty–Kapchagay highway and the Zhetygen–Kazibek railway line, with production zones located near key transport corridors and the airport. During his visit, the Deputy Prime Minister met with representatives of Rhenus Logistics, which has expressed interest in partnering on a transport and industrial hub in Alatau. In Green District, covering more than 31,700 hectares near the Kapchagay Reservoir, the Kaskelen River and the city of Konaev, areas have been designated for resorts and parks, with plans for a Formula‑1 racetrack and Iconic Building‑2 tourist center. The working trip also included a meeting of the Project Office focused on investment protection, contract stability and governance issues, after which Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bozumbayev Kanat instructed relevant agencies to ensure coordinated and effective implementation of Alatau City’s development plans.
