Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bektenov Olzhas reviewed the progress of infrastructure and investment projects in Alatau City during a working visit to Almaty Region, as part of the implementation of the President’s instructions to develop Alatau as a new center for investment, technology, and business activity.

During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on urban planning preparations, the implementation of major investment projects, and measures to ensure reliable electricity supply for new production facilities. Information was also presented on projects currently being implemented in logistics, construction, industry, tourism, and the food sector.

Special attention was given to large-scale investment initiatives, including projects in food production and industrial manufacturing, as well as anchor developments designed to shape the city’s long-term economic profile. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of accelerating infrastructure readiness, strengthening investor confidence, and maintaining a people-centered and business-friendly approach to urban development, noting that Alatau’s special status provides additional institutional conditions to support its growth.
