The head of the National Bank Timur Suleimenov explained why Kazakhstan undertook the implementation of a large-scale and expensive project, Ulysmedia.kz corresponds.

Timur Suleimenov is convinced that Alatau will become a counter magnet for Almaty. Actually, this is the most important task of establishing a new city - unloading the country's largest metropolis.  At the same time, the head of the National Bank noted that unprecedented measures for Kazakhstan will be implemented in Alatau.

- It will be a new generation city, where everything will be in a new way. And it will serve as a counter magnet for Almaty. Everyone understands how huge the agglomeration of Almaty is - 3.2million. This has an impact on the environment, workload, etc. We need a counter magnet, we need a territory that would pull part of the workforce and housing stock away from Almaty under the same quality conditions, Timur Suleimenov said.

- According to Alatau, there will be a separate law that involves the introduction of things that have not been used in our country. And as part of this, the possibility of cryptocurrency payment will be given, Suleimenov said.
